Trix RasterServer
directly converts DWG, DXF and HPGL to PDF and multiple raster formats.
It also converts between raster formats and from shell files (such as
DOC, XLS, VSD). RasterServer works automatically in the background
providing batch mode conversion to high-resolution raster images for
anyone on a network.

A CAD file is readily modified. What should be final versions can so
easily be revised inadvertently. With RasterServer you can sign off a
final version and have it immediately converted from DWG (2004, 2002, 2000, 2000i,
R12/R13/R14), DXF or HPGL PLT to an easily readable, tamperproof,
high-resolution raster file.

It's safe to send raster files of designs to your vendors, customers or
contractors because they can't be modified in CAD. So instead of
printing the files and couriering them you can use the Internet to send
the files electronically.
Designs arrive almost immediately while you save money by avoiding
print and transport costs. Or you can publish entire technical drawing
sets on a CD.

Raster files can generally be printed much faster than CAD files. When
Trix RasterServer is used in conjunction with Trix PrinterServer, E-size
drawings can be printed in less than a minute on many large-format
printers.

Trix RasterServer outputs the PNG format for reading by Navigator
and Explorer Browsers. Publish your CAD designs to your customers or
in-house using Web-friendly raster images. No need for special plug-ins.

Unlike screen dumps, RasterServer lets you select the resolution you
need so that your raster drawings are crisp and clear. Legible even when
you zoom in.

RasterServer lets you set precise raster line widths that absolutely
correspond with colors in your original CAD file. That way your color
information is available through the medium of a black and white print.
And you can choose the layers to rasterize.

RasterServer also includes automated raster-to-raster conversion in
addition to vector-to-raster. |
