    Trix Organizer enables individual engineers and drafts people to locate engineering files of any type - CAD, image,document, spreadsheet, whatever - using a single search facility.
   Where there's visual information, such as in a raster file you see this as a thumbnail image rather than have to rely on file names. And when you make revisions or add new files, Organizer makes it easy to record and control your changes.
    Trix Organizer works in conjunction with Microsoft SQL Server. You do not need to know how the database engine works in order to use the Organizer.

   There's no escaping from it: organizing file-based data is a daunting task. Trix Organizer is the tool that enables you to start creating order and avoid chaos.
   Organizer is not a fully fledged Engineering Document Management System (EDMS). That is its strength. Organizer is the foundation for order. It can function as an organizer without your needing an EDMS.
    And, if you should ever implement a full EDMS, Trix Organizer has your data under control and available for orderly upload into the EDMS. In effect Organizer buys you breathing space to build organization for all the files you use.

Organizer is currently available for installation by Trix Systems or your VAR or Systems Integrator. Design and installation for a corporate engineering department or a municipality typically take no more than ten days. And Trix Organizer is priced so your controller won't have heart failure.

   In theory we could create order from all this using a good EDMS. And there are a great many really good EDMS offerings to choose from. Unfortunately there are two major impediments to implementing an EDMS:
   In the first place your controller probably won't just write the check to buy the system. It tends to require quite a large check; And secondly you probably won't be given a few months off to dedicate yourself to massaging and finegling your files to fit the requirements of the EDMS.

   We have a solution to this problem. Trix Organizer will allows you to start building organization into your files in your own time to meet your specific needs.
   You can organize all types of files so you can locate them easily. And where there's visual information such as in a raster file you'll be able to see this as a thumbnail image rather than have to rely on file names.
   Trix Organizer stores information in a format that will permit eventual export to an EDMS if that should ever be required. But you'll have the breathing space to build organization for the files you use.
